PUBLIC HEARING: Public comment period is May 1-June 30, 2025
Public hearings are an opportunity for members of the general public to weigh in with thoughts or suggestions about the proposed regulation amendments. The public may also weigh in through written comment by writing the Board of Cosmetology.
The deadline for written response is June 30th, 2025. Written comments should be mailed to: KBC, Attn: Eden Davis Stephens, General Counsel; 1049 US HWY 127 S. Annex #2 Frankfort, KY 40601.
The public hearing is scheduled for June 30th, 2025, Located at: Mayo Underwood Building, 500 Street Frankfort KY 40601. Located in the Hearing room 133 CE on the first floor at 2:00 p.m.
Notice of attending the public hearing must be transmitted to the administrative body in writing to Joni.Upchurch@ky.gov and Eden.Stephens@ky.gov no later than five workdays prior to the date of the scheduled public hearing.
These regulations are tentatively scheduled for review by the Administrative Regulation Review Subcommittee at its July 2025 meeting. If the Regulations Compiler notifies KBC of any changes, this will be communicated through the KBC website.
